They magically appear in the default iTunes music folder-available in iTunes, and synced with iCloud and iTunes Match-and, as they are added to iTunes the files and folders disappear from the “Automatically Add to iTunes” folder. The files and folders you copy there are automatically sucked into iTunes like a vacuum. When you do so, the folder works exactly as advertised. Instead of copying music files directly to the iTunes default music folder, copy them to the “Automatically Add to iTunes” folder-which should be one of the folders available in the default iTunes music folder (you may also have a shortcut to this magic folder on your Windows desktop). Apparently, when you acquire music from means other than directly from iTunes, and you want to include it in your iTunes library, this is where you need to cut and paste the files and folders to. After a little research, I discovered a folder called “Automatically Add to iTunes”.
